Rush testing server

Get set up

Do these in order.

  1. Assetto Corsa

The original game on Steam, Windows PC only. Not Evo, Competizione or Rally. Start it once so it creates its folders.

  2. Content Manager

Free launcher that installs mods and joins servers. Use the “Download directly” link on the official page, then point it at your Assetto Corsa folder.

  3. Custom Shaders Patch (CSP)

Version 0.1.79 or newer. The easiest way is inside Content Manager: Settings, Custom Shaders Patch, Install. The official page lists the current recommended build. Avoid v0.2.3: the Rush SR’s authors warn against it.

  4. Rush SR car authentic_2023_rush_sr, v1.22

The officially licensed Rush SR by Authentic Simulation, sold on Sim Vendor ($3.99 when this page was written) and installed with the Sim Vendor ModLauncher. It is copy-protected: get it from Sim Vendor yourself. Do not use zip copies from file sites, they will not match the server.

  5. Tracks

Four tracks. You can start with only the one shown on the Status page, but the server rotates through all of them. Install each as a folder inside assettocorsa\content\tracks.

    Eagles Canyon eagles_canyon_v0.32

The official Eagles Canyon Raceway track, version 0.32 (62 MB zip), as linked from the Simshop install guide. Drag the zip onto Content Manager, or unzip it so the eagles_canyon_v0.32 folder sits in content\tracks.

    MSR Cresson eko_sr_cresson

By EKO Sim-Racing (Texas). The server runs the 1.3, 1.7 and 3.1 layouts.

    1. Email EKO Sim-Racing at eko.simracing@gmail.com and ask for MSR Cresson.
    2. Download the zip from his reply.
    3. Drag it onto Content Manager, or unzip it so the folder eko_sr_cresson ends up in assettocorsa\content\tracks. The folder name must match exactly.

    Hallett Motor Racing Circuit eko_sr_hallett_motor_racing_circuit

By EKO Sim-Racing (Oklahoma). Clockwise and counter-clockwise. Other “Hallett” downloads on the web are different conversions and will not work.

    1. Email EKO Sim-Racing at eko.simracing@gmail.com and ask for Hallett Motor Racing Circuit.
    2. Download the zip from his reply.
    3. Drag it onto Content Manager, or unzip it so the folder eko_sr_hallett_motor_racing_circuit ends up in assettocorsa\content\tracks. The folder name must match exactly.

Circuit of the Americas cota_2022, v1.2 by Fenryr

    1. If you have an older cota_2022 folder in assettocorsa\content\tracks, delete it first.
    2. Download the .rar (a free sharemods link: “Create download link”, then “Download”; about 390 MB) and open it with 7-Zip.
    3. Copy the content folder from the .rar into your Assetto Corsa folder (the one that holds content), and accept the merge.
  6. Join the server

Click Join and Content Manager opens and takes over. The button only works on a Windows PC that has Content Manager. Phones, Macs and Linux cannot use it.

Button not doing anything? In Content Manager open Drive, Online, choose Direct / Add by IP, enter the address below and join.

    207.148.1.17:9600

If the server is asleep (Offline on the Status page), it needs starting first. Ask in the group or use the Start page.

  7. Optional: lap telemetry app

A small Windows app that uploads your laps so you can compare speed, brake and throttle traces with other drivers. You sign in once with an emailed code.

Can’t join, or “missing content”?

  • Version mismatch or “checksum” errors: the Rush SR must be v1.22 and Circuit of the Americas v1.2. Update or reinstall the item, then retry.
  • Missing track or car: install the exact folder names listed above. The track on the Status page is the one you need right now.
  • Game crashes on Circuit of the Americas: see the settings to turn off in Content Manager in this screenshot from the track author (opens in a new tab).
  • Still stuck? Note which step failed and what Content Manager said, then ask in the group.
